Leada Acrow has invested almost £250,000 in new formwork equipment specially manufactured for the company. The majority of the new formwork has gone out on immediate hire to assist construction of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty project, a major transport infrastructure project at the heart of the Scottish Government’s commitment to improve transport in Aberdeen and across the north east of Scotland. The project involves the construction of a new 58km road which is scheduled to open in winter 2017.
Leada Acrow has continued the expansion of its hire fleet of equipment by placing a £0.5 million order for Mammut heavy-duty formwork components manufactured by German-based MEVA, one of the world’s leading concrete formwork and falsework producers.
