A Sales Engineer is required to join one of the UK's leading hire equipment organisations, As a FTSE 100 company, A-Plant can offer excellent training opportunities with great scope for progression, supporting you throughout your career.

Roles and responsibilities

Leada Acrow a division of A-Plant is the construction industry’s preferred supplier of formwork, false work, access products and ground works equipment. 

You will identify and sell full engineering solutions, not just equipment. Every project is different, so you will work closely with proposal writers, construction managers and site agents, developing a detailed understanding of project requirements.

Skills required

Already possessing a proven sales record, you must have the drive and desire to maintain and develop our already successful business as well and demonstrate:

  • A clear understanding of the use of wet concrete techniques in construction is essential, with the ability to read and understand construction plans.
  • You need to be a proactive thinker, team player and have ability to work under pressure. There are lots of opportunities to up and cross-sell here, so you will really be able to put your sales skills to work.
  • A Customer focused and well-organised approach
  • Proficient IT skills and the ability to analyse data such as business plans, performance and market data
  • Ability to promote the A-Plant brand and cross-sell all the products
  • Experience of plant hire or construction industry will be advantageous
