We are currently recruiting for Internal Sales Executive Apprentices to join us to embark on an 18 month Apprenticeship Programme. We are offering £10,500 to undertake an apprenticeship in Customer Service. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will be offered a full time position as an Internal Sales Executive with a salary of up to £18,500. This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate!

Roles and responsibilities

You will learn:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and from other service centres
  • Processing orders for equipment for hire from customers using various computer packages
  • To ensure the accurate and timely completion of all hire contract administration in line with Company procedures
  • Making outgoing calls to establish leads for the Field Sales Engineer and build relationships with customer
  • Technical product knowledge and its application in the construction sector
  • General admin including filing and opening post
  • To develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Service Centre Team and the sales team working out of the Service Centre
  • To adhere and to promote all health and safety compliance standards to ensure a safe working environment

Throughout the course of your apprenticeship we would like to see you develop personally through some of the key challenges outlined below:

  • Maintaining Company standards whilst working under pressure
  • Resolving customer issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned
  • Developing a strong sense of customer ownership, being fully conversant with all aspects of the relevant SLA and customer requirements
  • Developing sound product knowledge in order to accurately establish customer needs and up sell, where appropriate
  • Work on the hire desk delivering excellent customer service and field sales support
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers to help them hire the correct equipment
  • Build effective customer relationships and resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily

Skills required

The right candidate should possess the following skills: 

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Ability to adhere to Health & Safety processes and procedures
  • Problem- solving skills
  • Must have GCSE Grade 3/Grade D or above (or equivalent) in Maths & English
