New internal rebuild and conversion of 9 storey building
This prestigious project is based in Pall Mall, London. It consists of a complete internal rebuild and conversion of a nine storey building including a basement. This will house new two and three bed apartments on each floor with a penthouse on the top two floors and a roof garden. Like many buildings in Pall Mall, it is a listed building so the front face has remained intact and the renovation has been sympathetically carried out.

Pall Mall, London
This was a demanding project with regards to restricted access, limited space and design complexities. As the building is located in central London, deliveries and collections had to be meticulously organised, as there were restrictions on transport times and the type of vehicles that could be used. As space was also restricted on-site, we worked with the client to overcome any obstacles and made every effort to ensure that the plan of works was kept on schedule from the design stage to equipment being delivered on-site. Any design issues were overcome by our competent Design Engineers.
The first design issued was for the basement walls in which our Mammut wall formwork system was used. This was followed by the ground floor slab. Our MEP system was used with the primary and secondary Aluma beams. A similar system was used on all the floors for each slab with the dimensions differing slightly from floor to floor with EcoAs panels used for the upper floor walls, due to the lightweight design.
We successfully overcame the technical and logistical challenges and provided a range of formwork and falsework solutions, backed up by expertise by our Design Engineers, to enable completion of this project to the client's and main contractor’s satisfaction.
