New multi-million pound residential property
We were contacted by RPC Formwork to supply drawings and equipment for the construction of a brand new multi-million pound residential property in Virginia Water, next to Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey.
RPC Formwork (Sub-contractor to Belvedere)
The project involved the demolition of the existing property and the construction of a brand new seven bedroom house with a basement swimming pool, sauna, gym, cinema and quadruple garage.
The construction of curved walls, different swimming pool levels and a challenging concrete step made this an intricate and technically complex project.
Our design engineers in Birmingham supplied drawings for two different systems that were used on the project - Mammut panels and the MevaDec system. The Mammut panels were used as formwork for the curved walls with RPC Formwork creating curves using timber and ply. The MevaDec was incorporated into the design to take into account the swimming pool levels and also a concrete step that was in place halfway through the pour.
RPC Formwork was absolutely delighted with how the project took shape and the service received from Leada Acrow.

The products and the support that Leada Acrow gave us were outstanding, with a great design from their technical team and brilliant services from their Sales Engineer Mick Downs, who sorted any issue that came up very efficiently, meaning that we always kept to our budget and programme. I would like to say with that in mind we will be using them again with our next project.Roy Condon, Director at RPC Formwork
